Menu Items

The menus in the main dialog of Rayfront offer an alternative way to many functions, plus some that are not accessible otherwise.

File
- New Project...
- Open Project... - Select a *.rif file to open
- Close Project - Close the current project
- New Variation... - Create a new variation in the current project or clone an existing one.
- Save Variation - Save the current variation
- Quit - Exit the program
Project
- Project Location...
- Import from Autocad/Intellicad...
- Preferences...
Variation
- New Sky...
- Edit Sky...
- Assign/Edit Materials...
- Set Simulation Settings...
- Set Preprocess Settings...
- Set Special Render Settings...
- Build Octree... - create the octree of the current variation without actually running a simulation.
Import
- Import Luminaire Data...
- Foreign Scene Geometry...
- DXF Geometry...

- Convert...
- Analyze... (on Unix Systems, on Windows Systems)
