Munich "Bierseidel" Go Tournament

Results

The tournament was a nice success with almost 60 participants. Players travelled to Munich mostly from the german speaking countries Germany, Switzerland and Austria, but also from as far as Slovenia and Lithuania.

Undefeated winner was Park Sang-Nam, a 6 dan player from Korea, who is living in Munich. The next three places were also hold by local players, which clearly shows that we should start again to organise tournaments more often here (we will!).

For players all over the field the event was a great opportunity to make new friends, and refresh old ones. Quite a number of people have met here in person, that have known each other only from playing on the internet go servers up to then.

Many thanks to all who came playing, and helped us to make our tournament an event that we all will remember as being fun. Please come again next year!
